Plane Symmetric Higher Dimensional Vacuum Solutions in f(R) Gravity Theory

Abstract

In this paper, we have studied the higher-dimensional plane symmetric vacuum solution in f(R) gravity,where R is the Ricci scalar of the spacetime. we have assumed a constant scalar curvature, solved the field equations in higher dimensions in f(R) gravity, and we obtained exactly the same as the well-known Taub’s like metric and anti-de Sitter spacetime metric respectively.
